In this work of contemporary history, artist Don Stivers captures the intensity and focus of Transportation Corps Soldiers as they secure and protect the way for other Transporters who follow. In the foreground, the Tiger Team surveys a gathering of Iraqi citizens along the side of the road for signs of treachery. Stretched out behind the Tiger Team and over the horizon, a mixed fleet of military trucks laden with supplies and equipment convoy on Main Supply Route Jackson across the dangerous terrain near Baghdad.
